WHEELING — A couple is suing a hospital after a fall in a laboratory left injuries.
Stacie and Jeff Finnicum filed a lawsuit June 9 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ohio Valley Medical Center, citing negligence.
The lawsuit states Stacie Finnicum was a patient at the hospital on June 9, 2012, when she sustained serious injuries when she slipped and fell on water on the third floor while headed to the laboratory.
The Finnicums are seeking damages up to $74,000.
They are represented by Wheeling attorney Gerasimos Sklavounakis. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Ronald E. Wilson.
